Report of the Executive Unit for the Displaced Persons in Yemen on the damage caused by rain and torrential rains in the Hodeidah and Hajjah governorates during the period from 6 to 8 August 2024. According to the report, the most prominent damages were as follows: Deaths: 4 people in the Hays district of the Hodeidah governorate. Demolition: 132 houses in Hays District. Affected families: 2,073 families in Hodeidah Governorate, distributed among 22 camps, and 3,510 families in Hajjah Governorate, distributed among 61 communities. Destroyed homes: 132 homes in Hodeidah Governorate, and 3,510 homes in need of rehabilitation in Hajjah Governorate. The most prominent damages to the displaced: Shelter: 438 affected families in Hodeidah Governorate, and 3,510 affected families in Hajjah Governorate. Shelter materials: 780 affected families in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, and 1,035 affected families in Hajjah Governorate. Food supplies: 673 affected families in Hodeidah Governorate, and 1,125 affected families in Hajjah Governorate. Environmental Health: 599 affected families in Hodeidah Governorate, and 1,119 affected families in Hajjah Governorate
