
Heteen Development Charitable Foundation Achieves Qualitative Achievements in its Ramadan Season
At the conclusion of its Ramadan activities for the year 1446 AH, Heteen Development Charitable Foundation announced the success of its series of relief and developmental projects that targeted thousands of families and individuals across various Yemeni governorates, with generous support from its partners in the State of Kuwait.
Key Achievements by Sector
1. Food Security
- Distribution of 122,010 meals through 13 charitable kitchens** throughout the holy month
- Distribution of 1,300 food baskets benefiting 1,300 families (6,500 individuals)
- Distribution of 14,700 bags of dates to 14,700 families
- Distribution of 780 meat portions to 780 families
2. Water and Environmental Sanitation
- Provision of clean drinking water to 44,550 families
- Completion of a water tank project benefiting 850 families
- Distribution of Zakat al-Fitr to 2,415 families
3. Social Care
- Distribution of 732 Eid clothing sets for children
- Implementation of a charity and Zakat project for 1,171 families
- Sponsorship of 150 underprivileged families
- Sponsorship of 2 Quran teachers
4. Education
- Organization of Quran competitions benefiting 68 memorizers
- Sponsorship of 95 male and female students with visual impairments
5. Health Sector
- Performance of 2 eye surgeries
In this context, Dr. Jamal Al-Faqih the Executive Director of the Foundation, affirmed that "these achievements would not have been possible without the generous support of our partners in the State of Kuwait, represented by the Kuwaiti charitable associations: Namaa Al-Khairiyah, Nafeh Kuwaitiyah, Ghaith, and Al-Hikma Kuwaitiyah." He expressed his pride in this humanitarian solidarity that embodies the spirit of the blessed month of Ramadan.
Al-Faqih added: "This year, we were able to reach wide segments of society, as our food projects covered the needs of more than 610,050 individuals , in addition to providing sustainable development solutions in the water, education, and health sectors."
Future Vision
Al-Faqih announced the Foundation's plan to expand in:
- Increasing seasonal food projects
- Enhancing clean water programs
- Developing education projects, especially student sponsorships
- Strengthening partnerships with local and international organizations
These initiatives were widely welcomed by the Yemeni community, as beneficiary families expressed their gratitude for these efforts, which came at a time when the country is facing severe humanitarian crises.
