Heteen Foundation provided assistance to more than one and a half million beneficiaries from its development projects in 2024

The Heteen Charitable Development Foundation in Yemen achieved record numbers in the number of beneficiaries from its development and humanitarian projects during 2024. The total number of beneficiaries reached more than one and a half million beneficiaries (1,566,675) distributed across 63 directorates in 13 Yemeni governorates.

The foundation focused its efforts on four main areas: food security, water and environmental sanitation, education and empowerment, and shelter and protection. These programs included providing food, improving water and sanitation sources, supporting education and training, and providing shelter and protection for the most needy groups.

In the field of food security, 824,730 individuals benefited from 97 projects, while the number of beneficiaries from water and environmental sanitation projects reached 620,830 individuals through 85 projects. The Foundation also supported the education and empowerment sector with 30 projects that benefited 16,593 individuals, and provided shelter and protection to 8,154 individuals through 18 projects.

The Foundation did not neglect the importance of health and nutrition, as it implemented 13 projects that benefited 1,618 individuals. In addition, it invested in development and infrastructure through 25 projects that benefited 94,750 individuals.The Foundation indicated that it relied on strategic partnerships to implement these projects, with the support of 14 donors, and the contribution of 167 volunteers.

Dr. Jamal Al-Faqih, Director of the Heteen Charitable Development Foundation in Yemen, thanked the Foundation's partners in charitable work and all the good people for their efforts and continuous support that contributed to achieving these achievements and providing assistance to those in need. He added that the Foundation looks forward to continuing its diligent work to achieve its aspirations in serving the Yemeni community.
He stressed that these achievements reflect the commitment of the Heteen Foundation to providing support and services to needy families and communities in Yemen, and confirm its pioneering role in human development.
